It indeed feels lonely as a leader:
- Am I taking the right decisions?
- Who can I talk to, to check my decision-making process?
- What are the implications of my decisions?
- Am I missing something?
- Will I experience criticism and backlash as part of my decisions?
- Will people understand and engage with my decisions?

➡️ personal: on health, physical and mental, with higher levels of stress for leaders (and their teams). Extreme situations lead to burn-out and physical health issues.
➡️ organizational: teams mirror their leaders. Loneliness fuels a reduced sense of proximity and engagement. It encourages siloed organizations, leading to reduced information, input and collaboration. All this is impacting the organization's health, innovation and resilience.

✅ You are not alone: get support through #mentoring or #coaching. You can also build your own board of advisors (thanks Sriram Ved for the reminder last week!). All focus on different aspects and are game changers in supporting leaders.
✅ Go out: join circles of networking, communities and peers sharing, where you can get fresh perspectives in a safe space.
✅ Prioritize your well-being: a 1 hour walk (or swimming, running, etc...) will help you clear your mind and body. Recharge, so your ideas are refreshed and clearer.
✅ Give back: open up your perspectives. root yourself in meaningful causes and activities to detach yourself from your day-to-day environment. Reconnect with a different kind of impact, put things in perspective.
Business #Leaders, what additional impact could you create for you, your teams, families and communities if you were less lonely?
#HR leaders, how is your organization looking at helping your leaders fight loneliness?
