Do you find change easy?
In principle most of us likeย #change. It is a concept very much valued in our always-moving-societies. It often means we are adaptable, flexible, nimble, quick on our feet, easy to deal with, "true" leaders ... the list can go on.
That's when it disrupts the depth of our beliefs, habits, expectations or comfort, that it becomes tricky, even if change can be perceived positively in parallel - well, all changes do disrupt those, it's the definition of change itself!ย
Transpose this to the corporate environment, where change is a daily reality (I don't know any business or any leader that is not experiencing change very frequently, and sometimes even constantly), the impact is huge.
The one function we call to help is the #HRย function, because no matter what,ย #changeย impacts#people.ย
Because of:ย
โก๏ธ Business restructuration / repositioning / growth
โก๏ธ Skills obsolescence or emergence
โก๏ธ Geopolitical impact and geographical footprintย
โก๏ธ Culture shift ("how we do things here")
โก๏ธ Performance measurement and its rewards
=> people are always impacted by organizational changes.
HR leaders, how well do you feel equipped to lead change, to anticipate and navigate, for self, your teams and the businesses you support?
When is the last time you have invested in yourself to be equipped with regards to change?
Might be time for new perspectives on change โฉย
